Three intimate, seated wine-tasting experiences will tantalize your palette. A lunchtime respite amid the vines features an al a carte lunch at “The Farm – 4 Pines” (at your own cost). Experience the artistry of spirits with a glittering vodka tasting and savor the local dairy scene with an artisanal cheese tasting. We cater to all tastes and preferences, ensuring a diverse and enjoyable experience for all.

Itinerary
For those eager to explore a diverse range of wines crafted with precision and expertise, Hungerford Hill Winery is a perfect stop. Known for its extensive selection that caters to every palate, this winery is celebrated not only for its wines but also for its passionate and knowledgeable staff. Whether you’re a seasoned connoisseur or a wine novice, the team at Hungerford Hill ensures an enriching tasting experience that’s both educational and enjoyable.

Here you will choose 8 tastings including flavored vodkas, gins and liqueurs – some with glitter!
Small Mouth Vodka is handcrafted and free from preservatives and anything artificial. Carefully distilled using only premium organic ingredients, Small Mouth boasts a full flavor with a long, smooth finish.
Duration: 45 minutes
The expansive Cellar Door is perched atop a foot hill of the Brokenback Mountain Ranges and is a true must-see site of the Hunter Valley with stunning 360 degree views. Enjoy a Premium seated wine tasting at Audrey Wilkinson which lasts around 45 minutes.
You can wander freely through the on site winemaking museum, housed in the original winery and showcasing the Wilkinson Family history and our heritage awarded original open cement vats. Also on display are various barrel and wine making tools and equipment.
We will also allow some time for photos, as the views are phenomenal!

We will be stopping for lunch at 4 Pines at The Farm.
4 Pines taproom, bistro, and cellar door offers 600 square meters of panoramic Hunter Valley views. Enjoy a beer at the 12-tap bar or a Semillon on the patio. This destination venue provides 360-degree views of picturesque vineyards.
We’ll dine al fresco under the pavilion overlooking the vines for a relaxed and enjoyable experience. The perfect lunch stop to energize us before we continue our tour!

Hanging Tree Wines captures the essence of Hunter Valley’s natural beauty with its sprawling vineyards and stunning views. What sets this winery apart are not only its award-winning wines but also its charming farm dogs that greet visitors with wagging tails. The ambiance here is relaxed and inviting, making it an ideal spot to unwind while savoring exceptional wines amidst a backdrop of rolling hills and lush greenery.

As the sun begins to set on our Hunter Valley wine tour, we have one final stop – the renowned Binnorie Dairy. Arrive at their tasting bar and let the cheesemakers be your guides through a flight of their creamy cow and goat milk creations.
Watch through viewing windows as they carefully craft each batch using time-honored techniques. Savor the rich, complex flavors and discover why Binnorie Dairy has become a destination for cheese aficionados across Australia.
The espresso machine is always switched on so this is the perfect time to grab a takeaway as we drive back to Newcastle.
